%*#@ SNOW!!

It's snowing AGAIN. I should have known that as soon as I took the snowy theme off my blog and put on a springtime one, it would snow again. You saw the pictures from earlier this week. Then it snowed yesterday. Luckily, all of yesterday's snow melted within a few hours. Today's snow started a few hours ago, but it's not showing any signs of letting up. And it's going to be quite a bit more than yesterday, from the looks of it. Can I tell you how tired I am of snow? Please let it be over soon! (I'm sure you're all hoping for that too so you don't have to listen to be whine about it anymore.)

Ticia's last day

Ticia reading bedtime books to the kids.

Then we started goofing around with the timer trying to get pics of all four of us.

Then we took feet pictures.

We had a great time with Aunt Ticia. We're so glad she got to come see us. :)

Ticia's visit: Day 6

We drove up to the mountains for the day.

Riding the gondola. Can you tell they love it? :)

Proof that Ticia was there.

A family pic on the ride down the gondola. (It's much better than the one we tried to get at the top of the mountain.)

Lake Louise:

Gracie loved climbing on the big snow hill.

Ticia and the kiddos on the snow hill.

Driving from Lake Louise back to Banff... taking the scenic route.

And boy was it scenic!!! A grizzly bear!!! In the wild!! With no glass separating us!!!

We stopped before getting to Banff to take a small hike to a waterfall. The path was mostly ice.

The (half-frozen) waterfall.

Kids in front of half-frozen waterfall.

When we got home, we discovered the Easter Bunny had come. :)

Ticia's visit: Day 5

The kids with their laptops.

Easter egg hunting. Probably the first and last time they'll do it in the snow.

Dying eggs.

Playing with the dinosaurs that Grammy sent.

Ticia visit: Day 4

We went to the zoo with Ticia!

Having a picnic lunch.

In the kangaroo pouch.

Baby gorilla sleeping.

Baby giraffe (and a big one).

White buffalo.

Kids posing with dinosaur.

Ticia got some great shots of the tigers.

Gracie with a snake on her head. (Am I the only one singing Laurie Berkner now?)

Hippo sun-bathing.

Snow leopard.

They have these metal animals at the exit and we got some cute pics of the kids on/in them.
