One month

That's right. It's been a month since Danielle was born. I can't believe it either. (Being born in February did screw her out of a few days though. She's celebrating her 4 week birthday today too.)

I'm getting used to the lack of sleep. Which is to say I've figured out how to get a nap several times a week. ;)

I clearly suck at blogging lately. I'd like to blame it on having a newborn, but I can't get away with that since my friend Bethany has been blogging a lot since her son David was born on March 8th. So I'll just admit I suck at blogging. That's why no one reads it. Ha!

Danielle has been attacked by the dreaded baby acne. These pics were taken within the last week and don't even begin to do it justice. It's really bad. But she's still beautiful.

I love how she gets startled while sleeping and puts her hand up and leaves it there. I can't help taking pics when she does this.

This one looks like she's waving.

I love the lower hand out, like she will catch herself with it.

Here is a pic of our two girls. Gracie is quite a good big sister.

Bradley is just in love with Danielle and has been a terrific big brother, though we are still working on the gentle part with him.

Things are going pretty well. Lately, Danielle has been quite a bit more fussy, especially in the evenings. So Doug and I have decided we make high maintenance baby girls. Which stinks. Because Gracie was a super hard baby and I really didn't want another hard baby. My theory is that Danielle just wants to make me feel better about being done having babies after her... and it's working! ;)

You're sweet, but mine are 4 and 7 and yours is 2.5. I should be able to find time to blog as much as you do, but I don't. You win. I'm ok with that.

Riss, every single one of my babies was cranky in the evening hours. We 'lovingly' called those hours the WITCHING HOURS. It's just that it's been a long day for baby, an even loooooonger day for Momma, and there are so many things that need tending all at the same time. Give yourself a moment or two to breathe during those chaotic moments and order a pizza to be delivered for dinner. These crazy times will be done before you know it. ;)

I can't believe she's a month old already either! She's so pretty, Riss - love all the pictures! I liked your comment about her behavior making it clear you need to stop at 3 :-)
