Outside!

Sorry for the lack of updates this week. It was quite depressing to watch it snow every single day for a week and have it not get above freezing during that stretch. We took the kids out once last weekend with the intention of sledding, but the wind was brutal and it was -10C (14F) so we had to turn around and head back home. After being cooped up in the house for a week, we are thrilled that it finally warmed up today to 15C (almost 60F). There is still a lot of snow on the ground that needs to melt, but we spent some time out this afternoon anyway.

Doug shoveled the snow off the deck and into the sunny part of the yard so it would melt faster.

Bradley helped dump snow off the deck with his shovel.

Gracie helped too.

While we were on the deck, we noticed some ducks hanging out in the backyard. They stayed long enough to take a nap and then left.

Since the driveway is snow-free, the kids colored with chalk before we came in.

That's a pretty flower that Gracie colored on your driveway.....I had to LOL at Bradley helping shovel the deck -- totally something Will would do.

The weather looks gorgeous. We may have to invite ourselves up to Canada... : )
